Bingo Night

Our school has bingo night each year- it's a great fundraiser, as all the prizes are donated.  The main prizes this year were gift cards....amazing giftcards like a party for 15 at Jump Zone, $50 at one restaurant, $25 at another, etc.  So, Bailey wins and I go up and try to talk her into a gift card, but she wants nothing to do with it- she wants a toy.  Well, sorry to break it to you, but the toys are crudy.  I finally give up and go back to play bingo to try to win my own giftcard.  Bailey finally comes back and sets a dinky 99 cent plastic cup on the table and just stares at it.  I say, "what were you thinking?" and she wails, "what was I thinking!"  I talk her into trading it in and she gets a $25 giftcard to a local Japanese steak house.  Yum!  Jake won and chose buffet for 2 at Golden Coral.  I brought both kids' best friends and they both won.  So, I say, "I'm the loser of the family" and Bailey says, "you look 16, mom!"  She knows how to make an old lady feel good.  LOL
