Welcome to The Violet Fig!  I'm Becky: a 30 something kindergarten teacher with a house in the burbs, 2 kids, a hubby and way too many pets.

How do people do these things 2+ years in a row? After's last year's UBP post, I feel like I don't have anything else to say!

 I'm still the same Becky. I'm still A gardener. I still Top Ten Tuesday when I can. I am still a sisterchick.

Let's see...what's new this year?

I am trying to get healthier.
I attended Blissdom, met Harry Connick Jr. and made new friends in one wild weekend in Nashville!
I did meet Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman on her book tour.
I also met Jen from CakeWrecks.
I made my first post as a guest blogger on Once a Month Mom.
I made my second guest blog post on Once a Month Mom.
I found out I'm going to be an aunt...to twin girls!
I did my first Once a Month Mom cooking experience!

Wow- okay....so I guess I did do some new things since last year's post!  I hope you look around and stay a while.  I'd love to meet you!
