BzzAgent recently sent me a coupon for a free Publix Deli Kid's Meal. I had seen these in the store and was anxious to try them. When I went to pick one up, they were out. I asked if they had any in the back and they apologized and quickly got to work making some more for me. My 10 year old loves chicken fingers, so I chose the chicken finger sandwich. The meal contained a chicken finger on two Hawaiian rolls, a milk (which I traded out for a juice box), a bag of craisins and a bag of apples and grapes. When she came home from school I asked her to write a review. She loved doing this! Here is what she said about the new Publix Deli Kid's Meals.
"I love chicken fingers from Publix, so the sandwich was great. I was glad my mom grabbed a pack of mayo so it wouldn't be dry. I didn't love the craisins, but I don't like raisins either, so that's probably why. The apples and grapes were great. They were crisp and delicious. I don't drink milk, so my mom took it out and put in a juice box for me. I enjoyed the meal and would like to try another one. The ham sandwich on sandwich thins looks good."
So, it looks like the Publix Deli Kid's Meals were a hit. Since I wasn't sure if she'd eat the craisins, I added a bag of goldfish and I'm glad I did! I do think the price tag of $3.99 is little hefty for a child's lunch, since school lunches are $1.50, but it was fresh and tasty. Without a coupon, I will probably only purchase these as a special treat or for field trips and picnics.
Disclosure: I was provided one coupon for a free meal and a few coupons for $1 off the meals. As always, the opinions are my own!

Great review, Bailey! Glad you like the sandwich!
